Project Overview

Project Goal: ChainPort is a security-focused cross-chain bridge that enables seamless and permissionless token transfers across multiple blockchains. Our goal is to facilitate interoperability while maintaining the highest security standards, allowing users to move assets efficiently across different ecosystems, including TRON.

The integration would allow the bridging of any token between Tron and other chains, bi-directionally. Projects could join the Tron ecosystem by bridging their tokens, and users could bridge stablecoins, blue-chips like wETH & more.

At ChainPort we have multiple bridging mechanisms, and Tron could benefit from each of them.

For altcoins:
Lock & mint: Locks the asset on the source chain and mints on the destination chains. With full interoperability, allowing ports across multiple chains without the need to revert back to the original chain.
Native to native: For assets that are already minted on multiple chains, bridging is made possible via liquidity provisioning into the bridge, managed by the issuer.
Private bridge: For projects that want to retain full control over token bridging, shared vault custody, waving or customization of fees, revenue share & more.

For stablecoins and bluechips
Liquidity bridging: Enables seamless cross-chain transfers of stablecoins and blue-chips assets through decentralized liquidity pools.
Hybrid bridging: Innovative solution for transferring wrapped blue-chip tokens such as wETH and wBTC across various chains, combining lock-and-mint and native token bridging.
CCTP: Support for USDC transfers via CCTP; and where CCTP is unavailable, ChainPort deploys the USDC native standard approved by Circle.

Also, for chains, we offer a white-label solution: a tailor-made bridge that enables seamless asset transfers to and from your chain and is presented in your ecosystem as if it were your own.

Unique Value Proposition: ChainPort stands out as one of the most secure blockchain bridges, offering institutional-grade security through a combination of multi-layered protection mechanisms. By integrating with TRON, we provide its ecosystem with a reliable, decentralized, and scalable interoperability solution, expanding cross-chain access for assets like stablecoins, wETH, and altcoins.

Technical & Governance Details

Project Test Instructions: Users can test the bridge by transferring supported tokens across networks using our test environment. Further testing details will be provided closer to the TRON integration release.

How is the Project Governed?: ChainPort operates with DcentraLab managing core developments.

Funding & Business Model

Funding Request: The requested grant will be used to cover integration costs.

Revenue Model: ChainPort generates revenue through transaction fees, enterprise partnerships, and premium bridge features. Fees are competitively priced to encourage high-volume usage.

Interested in TRON Having a Stake?: Yes, a stake from TRON would align incentives and drive deeper ecosystem collaboration.

Preferred Collaboration Method: We seek a strategic partnership with TRON DAO through funding, co-marketing initiatives, and technical collaborations to enhance cross-chain adoption.

Ecosystem Impact

Partnerships: ChainPort has integrated with 29+ chains and collaborated with major protocols, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, and Base. We aim to expand the TRON ecosystem’s interoperability and liquidity.

Time on TRON: TBD.

Project Milestones

TBD

We look forward to working with TRON DAO to drive cross-chain innovation and expand interoperability within its ecosystem.

Welcome to tbl, 20 team members is just too much if you’re asking me but my opinion does not count for anything, you mentioned it but you did not say their names and their background, so please do, thank you

Welcome to TBL!

I will walk through your project and come bakck later if have questions.

Thanks for the welcome. Hope you like ChainPort!

Dcentralab has been developing dApps and web3 infrastructure for nearly 8 years. The team has delivered more projects than just ChainPort. Feel free to check out DcentraLab.com for more information.

Welcome to TBL, your revenue model is quite interesting

But you didn’t state what percentage of these transactions gets accrued as fees

Nearly all token bridging transactions require a fee, unless a project pays for premium bridging features and waives the fee. The fee is 0.3% of the bridge value at the time of bridging tokens.

Welcome to TBL team, with this integration please how will it benefit tron users?

You have really make it clear for understanding, I have to also look at the LinkedIn profile that you share and I want to ask, why you don’t have twitter, because that is the most commonly used social media for web3, thank you

Ok so 0.3%, I get that clearly.
But, in the event of a mishap, how will you handle a failed transaction or a case of lost assets?

Hi, sorry if it was not clearly listed.

If a tx fails, the transfer of tokens does not happen, and the tokens remain in the user’s wallet on its original chain. ChainPort only takes fees if there is a source tx that succeeds and the token was bridged successfully.

ChainPort’s integration will benefit TRON users by enabling secure cross-chain transfers between TRON and 29+ other blockchains. This will unlock new liquidity opportunities, expand DeFi access, and allow users to bridge assets like altcoins, wETH, and stablecoins with high security and efficiency.

Welcome to TBL :handshake:
Your website seems to not working
I tried severally, please can you confirm this

After reading I didn’t see where you added fund request or does that mean your project is generating enough funds already

Checked the Demo and this is what I found :backhand_index_pointing_down:

I can assure you that from my end the website is working as it should. Pictures attached. Please try using a different browser.

As for the grant, each chain integration takes time and resources. Hence why we’re applying for a grant.

Okay I will check again and let you know

That is the main reason why I asked because it was not attached or maybe you omit it

Oh ok, this is similar to the product from @Zapo

Ok thank you for that reply

Oh wow, but this gives me another worry.
In a case where network congestion issue for instance causes a delay in finalizing the bridge on the supposed destination chain, will the transaction automatically retry, or it’ll require manual action at this point?
