Oficial Note: As you may be aware we have been running a little promotion ($1k worth of UKI tokens to be shared amongst those members supporting our project). Some other projects reported us about vote-buying practices, and we want to make a clarification about this:
First, it was not our intention buying votes, but giving some incentives to our own community to register in trondao forum and follow the steps to reach level 1 and vote, which can be a bit complex for new members.
Second, we have been following who is voting for us, and we noticed that indeed the vast majority of the votes we have received so far come from users who already knew about our project and genuinely support it.
Third, considering the number of voters we have so far, someone voting for us would just receive less than $15 worth of UKI, which would be diluted as more members decide to vote for us. This is just a very little incentive, which in our opinion, doesn’t hurt the fairness of the Hackathon voting more than other practices that cross supporting of projects.
Fourth, it was not our intention to gain any financial benefit from the community voting, since the prize we get from this, if any, would be solely used to buyback Cukies from our marketplace and raffle to our community.
Five and last, we don’t want to create any discomfort between Tron community, and will follow any recommendation made by the the forum admins.
We will update the main thread with this information, and will share it in private to the forum admin. We would appreciate that any decision on this could be shared in the thread in public, so our community know about it and we could refer to it.
