Happy new year @lawpond and everyone here, hope we all have a great 2026 ![]()
Happy new year !
Good luck for the marketing and global product launch for D library !
Thank you @HODL !
I still got a few little glitches to make it work perfect on desktop. I’ll keep you updated very soon .
Looks good! So, are you gonna use TRON voting for DLibrary SR as “Subscription” model ?
Great to see good progress on your project since inception ![]()
Architectural Design: D-Library “TRON Reading Club”
1. Governance & Allocation Layer
Project Vote Smart Contract (TRON-native)
This contract serves as the decentralized steering wheel for the Library’s development funds and logic.
-
Decentralized Logic: Handles the logic for project milestones and budget allocation.
-
Proportional Weighting: Leverages the “Wise Score” (from the Membership contract) to weight votes. Members who contribute higher quality metadata or more frequent “safe” edits gain more influence in the library’s direction.
-
Contract Interaction: Only addresses verified as members in the Free Membership contract can participate in library governance.
2. Membership & Identity Layer
Free Membership Smart Contract (TRON Reading Club)
A permanent registry that replaces recurring billing with a one-time “Entry Donation.”
-
The “One-Time” Logic: A minimum public donation of 20 TRX triggers the permanent minting of a unique username mapped to the user’s TRON wallet address.
-
Username-Centric Identity:
-
Generates ONE username per account.
-
The username becomes the public key to that user’s personal “version” of the library.
-
That username’s data is not protected by a password.
-
That username’s data represents that username’s personal view of what a d-safe copy is.
-
-
Privacy Model: The “Author” (owner) remains anonymous. The library is accessed via the username, allowing for “Identity-Light” sharing.
-
Public Domain Sharing: By donating, the user explicitly accepts a smart contract term to publish their library usage/metadata on-chain, effectively creating a “Public Domain” copy of the library accessible to anyone with that username.
3. Data & Safeguard Layer
Collaborative Curation (Read/Write Logic)
Unlike a traditional library, this model treats every member as a potential librarian with strictly defined boundaries to prevent vandalism.
-
Allowed Operations:
-
Removal Suggestions: Members can flag content for removal (which is then processed by the governance logic).
-
Metadata Refinement: Members can propose edits to Titles and Descriptions only.
-
-
Wise Score (The Quality Level):
-
An on-chain assessment of account quality.
-
Increments based on accepted edits and “Donation Age.”
-
Decrements for spamming removal suggestions.
-
Automation Weight: High-score accounts may have their edits auto-approved or require fewer peer votes.
-
Summary of the “Subscription” Flow for non member
-
Enter: User lands on the Library with a username invitation.
-
Auto-Subscribe: The Library downloads this username personal copy and merge this
Summary of the “Subscription” Flow for member
-
Enter: User lands on the Library.
-
Donate: 20 TRX one-time fee via the TRON Reading Club contract.
-
Claim: User gets allocated a unique username (e.g.,
@advective_verbs_TRON-WATER_year_month). -
Save Level: User save his data on the blockchain for free.
-
Share: Anyone can access
that usernamewithout no need for wallets, or membership. -
Access: The world can view Alex’s curated library, descriptions, and edits without Alex ever needing to provide a password, email, phone number or renew a subscription.
A very Happy New Years everyone! ![]()
