I get it how a lot of work load can get overwhelming and result to rustiness, just lmk where I can help.
After release, there are plenty of avenues to help.
Let’s focus on your main attribute: Your location and language. You can represent D-Library in Nigeria, and see if your local government/ngos would be interested to fund it for their local languages, schools or communities.
I hope to get some help by next month to start working on the translation in Tibetan, Hindi and Bengali (hoping to launch a state wide competition on who get their translation next in India ).
You are also a cool community enhancer, seeing what you do here is amazing, bringing good vibe and positiveness in the face of adversity. So if you want, you can also become a community leader in your country - This is aimed to be a public good, so it belongs to everyone.
I have just published an article this morning (on the preview) explaining how that could work:
Oh wow, I’d be glad to take you up on the offer, let’s see where this leads.
Thank you for you’re respond, I have see the article
I have deployed a massive release on the 31st of August.
So many new updates + metamask support.
I also just have published many new blog posts on substack
Just wondering man, is this you with the link on LinkedIn? And if yes, is it same as the sub stack link you shared here? Just being cautious man
Yes, it was me, I was experimenting with Linked - see if they could extract Meta description & title from the link.
Thanks for asking ![]()
The substack is from me yesterday (It could be you too).
I got many articles posted yesterday.
And today, I got an automation script allowing to simultaneously post on facebook, open collective, and Linkedin - now pushing it to do the same on mastodon, patreon, and maybe bluesky.
Oh wow, thought as much but had to ask for verification.
Hey man, I caught your article firsthand on LinkedIn ![]()
Just wondering, why don’t you share here also, atleast for folks that may neither not have LinkedIn or those that don’t get on LinkedIn too often.
@manfred_jr good idea.
I also have a newsletter at this address. https://datapond.substack.com
I am experimenting with LinkedIn CTR at the moment, to see how much I can reach for free.
As I said earlier, I am still a bit rusty with social media, it takes a while to get back into it. But it is is so much easier and rewarding than writing code.
I though women would like the licence name… ![]()
Ohhh ! They actually try to lock you in into installing an App? I am sorry, I didn’t know.
Good day @manfred_jr ,
I was wondering, would it be better that I create a separate post in the chit chat section like this one ? or should I just copy paste them here?
It’s quite big content, and I already have about a dozen blog posts.
I think you should post them here, as a way to keep the conversation streak here going.
Yeah, making sure to reach the Thai Monk-hood network … It will probably take a bit of time.
I finally decided to go public face…
Yesterday I have been interviewed by this amazing traveler from Germany. The first minute is in German, the rest in English.
From next week, I will start recording weekly you-tube videos, get a bit of practice in public setting setup - mainly reading the blog.
I believe this is the way to raise awareness - by being authentic.
An important edit to the newsletter issued yesterday:
** Corporate Control as Environmental Crisis Driver**
========================================
Allowing corporations to moderate and control access to knowledge represents a fundamental cause of our current environmental crisis. Corporate-controlled information systems systematically hide sustainable production methods, suppress research on renewable alternatives, and promote consumption patterns that serve corporate interests while devastating ecosystems. This corporate gatekeeping of knowledge prevents communities from accessing information that could reduce environmental impact, create sustainable local economies, and eliminate dependence on destructive industrial practices that prioritize shareholder profits over planetary health.
D-Library places ultimate content moderation authority in the hands of community judges, recognizing that when governments become corporately controlled fascist entities—as evidenced in regions like Australia or Europe since the early 2000s—this design ensures content cannot remain neutral or independent from corporate influence in those affected areas. Under corporate fascism, judicial systems become extensions of corporate power, meaning D-Library’s content will reflect the corporate interests that control those governments rather than maintaining independence from corporate greed.
D-Library does not seek to alter any country’s political system or governance structure, and we respect citizens’ sovereign right to choose fascism - even if that doesn’t represents their collective will. As stated in our foundational principles, D-Library ultimately respects every judicial system as the legitimate representation of their respective communities, regardless of the political landscape, corporate influence, or ideological framework governing those states. This respect extends to communities that willingly embrace corporate fascism, understanding that such choices reflect the democratic will of those populations, even when those choices result in corporate control over information access and knowledge preservation."
This is awesome, I just added it to my “watch later”.
