Differences between TVM and EVM?

What are the main differences if there are any? Does it have exactly the same opcodes? :slight_smile:

I’m not a developer but there is this:

TRON Virtual Machine (TVM) - Java Tron.

Mostly it uses Bandwidth/Energy rather than EVM’s Gas.

I couldn’t personally list them as I’m not a dev, but there are some small differences between EVM and TVM Chains

Its actually quite a large difference considering TRON is able to pull off FREE transactions and even FREE smart contracts if developers wanted them to be by supplying energy.

In contrast ETH will always have gas fees regardless of how you interact and can never be FREE.

You can freeze your TRX to gain energy or bandwidth. This enables you to gain free transactions, which is unique to TVM.

Compared to other blockchains that continually needs to burn the token for gas.
