GATHBOOK by Morgan - Where Your Digital Books Are Truly Yours

This approach to author collaborations is dynamic and adaptable i.e by focusing on long-term partnerships without being limited to a particular influencer.

How will you tailor each collaboration to ensure that it resonates with the target audience? Will the promotional strategies differ based on the genre, language, or demographic of the influencer’s readership?

Yes, everything is gradual and customizable, our initial approach is that
we’re not targeting based on a certain genre or reading style, but we’re targeting certain things which is from the characteristics, age, and also who might already have a point of view on this technology, because that determines the achievement of our target market.

I really like the fact of how you are honest with your planning and I am also liking how you focus on Indonesia as you’re initial target and use English for more accessibility I am thinking it is very brilliant, but as you are targeting Indonesia does this mean you are going to localize your platform, thank you

Your approach of targeting users based on characteristics like age and their familiarity with technology rather than focusing solely on genres or reading styles is quite commendable and the demographic-based strategy could help reach early adopters more effectively and foster a user base that is not only interested in books but also open to the novel concept of blockchain-powered digital ownership. Now moving forward;

How are you planning to segment users within your target demographics? Are there specific age groups or technology-savvy segments that you believe will have a stronger initial response to Gathbook?

Not entirely I will be localizing the platform. However, in our first step, I would say yes, because it’s going to be very broad, so we’re trying to reach local targets first.

Our plan is to focus on users who are naturally more tech-savvy, starting with gen-Z (15-25 years old), who tend to embrace digital innovations like NFTs quickly.
We will also reach out to millennials (25-40 years old), who in addition to being avid readers, are also interested in the value of digital ownership and also look at its investment potential.

This way, we can connect with early adopters more effectively.

Hope this answers your questions!

how do you implement this plan. especially the tech savvy generation

Ofcourse this totally answers my question, I clearly get it how your focus on Gen-Z and millennials as initial target demographics makes a lot of sense, both groups are more likely to adopt new technologies like NFTs and digital ownership, with Gen-Z being particularly open to exploring digital innovations, and millennials being more interested in long-term value and investment potential.
But I’m particularly concerned about engagement at this point, so how do you plan to maintain long-term engagement with these demographics after the initial sign-up? Will you introduce features like reading communities, book clubs, or interactive elements to keep them involved over time?

@manfred_jr @Prince-Onscolo
Sorry for the late reply,

As we’ve said before, reaching the market to long-term user engagement, what we’re doing is collaborating with those influencer authors, basically every month we’ll do an event that we’ll share on our social media and those influencers to attend, and also the main feature on the MVP will be the interaction of sharing their digital book NFTs on our platform, that’s one of our strategies, which is probably afterwards we’ll create a discussion room on the platform for those same digital book NFT holders.

Good question!
Let me answer,

Our biggest challenge is probably in the market competition that maybe they have a bigger library, then like @manfred_jr said,

will also be a big challenge for us, therefore we have to keep updating content, features, and in the future can provide incentives to maintain user loyalty.

Hope this answers your question

Without a doubt, your strategy of monthly events with influencer authors is a solid approach to maintaining user engagement and fostering a strong community. I have a question and it’s bordering on event participation; how will you incentivize users to attend monthly events? Will there be any rewards, exclusive content, or benefits for attending these events with influencer authors?

OK so is the event going to be online or in person events

In addition to their interest in coming up with their own initiatives, we will work together to create some NFTs as rewards for those who are active.
Maybe give $GBOOK as a reward for those who actively read on the platform in the future? We also really need suggestions from the community here regarding this

We really wanted both, online to reach out to the market that couldn’t make it to the event in person.

But our first step is online, it will save a lot of cost to build an event.

I am seeing very clearly that you are putting the mark on marketing competition and the long term engagement as you are identifying them to be 2 of your biggest challenge, but please tell me are you not planning to do future incentives for your users, thank you

very possible, I also thought about the cost that’s why I asked. thank you

Truthfully this is very thoughtful , your idea of creating NFTs and potentially rewarding users with $GBOOK for active participation is a promising way to incentivize engagement and build a sense of community around Gathbook.
Leveraging rewards not only keeps users coming back but also encourages them to share their experiences with others, which could lead to organic growth.
My candid suggestion is you could implement a tiered reward system where users earn different levels of NFTs or $GBOOK based on their activity.
I’m always in for irl utility, atleast good rewards that’d guarantee flipping a bit for profit, so will $GBOOK rewards have any monetary value within the platform, or will they primarily be used for trading and earning more content?

Great idea, rewards will drive more users to stay active on your platform

Moreover Gathbook is a project that helps people really own their digital books, not just license them.
It uses special technology to make it easy to share, sell, or lend digital books. This helps authors and publishers connect with readers and earn money in new ways. Gathbook is exciting because it could change the way we buy and share digital books.
I have an important question

In what way will Gathbook make sure that authors and publishers get paid fairly when people share or resell their digital books, and how will it handle issues with copyright and permissions.
