Most crypto hacks are just social engineering. Social engineering can only be fixed if you fix human behavior and knowledge.

The most common crypto hack is probably signing a transaction or giving approvals to a smart contract (dapp) that you shouldn’t be interacting with. (Airdrops or websites that look like the legit website)

I think the best way to mitigate crypto hacks would be to create somehow a mini-wallet that will handle maybe a max $$ amount and then have a secondary wallet with your large sums.

That way if your mini-wallet gets hacked then you lose a small amount and have to re-make a new one but you don’t lose your big sum.

This is similar to debit limits from a bank where people can only withdraw $100 per day or something.

Thank you sir. This way is better. For me is not good to have one purse :purse: or wallet that you keep all assets in it and you are exposing it to everyone and links. I learnt that I will need at least 2 wallet address, the main one and the second one. This has help me, because I use the second one to do all the testing and connecting wallet. So that in future something happens to it. I will not be affected. While the main one is untouched. But sir is it really true that one can have a wallet that he or she haven’t used to connect to link before and the still get hacked?
