JustMoney Invoice - Online Invoicing Solution

JustMoney Invoice is actually a new product created for this hackathon :slightly_smiling_face:

Besides, we’ve seen old projects built in the early days of Tron participating in the hackathon and not getting enough votes to be among the top 5 in their categories. That shows that being an ā€œoldā€ project doesn’t give you automatically an advantage.

We can add the fact that some builders participate again and again with different products that are built under different brandings. It kind of blurs the lines.

But I agree with you on one point. Users primarily vote for the projects they estimate reliable. Those who they know won’t cash out and leave on an other chain or just let the dapp die.

So I agree with @TronLive and @WindsOfChange92 suggestion to explore other possibilities such as starting a hub, an accelerator that would provide a constant support to projects that proved themselves legit. Maybe a smaller size hackathon could coexist. Like a 50k-100k hackathon for totally new teams and an accelerator for established ones.

Or the hackathon prize could even be some energy to deploy and a pass to join the accelerator.

That way cash grabbers would probably stay away cause no immediate gains in USDD. And Tron could grow a community of builders and keep them in the ecosystem instead of saying ā€œhere get some money, and good luck for the futureā€.

What do you think @EMerchant @WindsOfChange92 @StevenTRON @TronLive

Basically I am a professional Accountant. This kind of project related blockchain base online invoicing solution really helps me to grow in the blockchain industry as an accountant.
Further, this project really seems Excellent.

Nice to see JustMoney Invoice is welcomed by professionals. If you see any possible improvement, addition you would like please share it with us here or to me in dm :+1:

I agree that in the current scenario, web3 projects often require initial support from the ecosystem, whether in the form of grants or mentorship. However, a pertinent question emerges: How long should these projects continue relying on ecosystem grants? In the case of infrastructure projects that directly contribute to the overall ecosystem, seeking multiple grants is logical. However, for projects like Justmoney that are primarily focused on building their own businesses, there should be a defined transition point where they pivot towards private funding. This is a model I’ve observed on successful chains in the past. Again I want to emphasize that my intention is not to single out any specific project but to initiate a constructive conversation.

Hard to find private funding institutions during a bearmarket that are willing to invest in a small project. Believe it or not, it’s even harder when the project has been built on Tron. Lot of VC’s will prefer to invest in more ā€œhypedā€ ecosystem.

Also, participating in a hackathon is not all about money as it has often been said on the forum. It’s also about connecting and showcasing.

And once again (I’ve said it before), JustMoney is far from being the one that participated the most :). Some have participated several times but you haven’t noticed it since they don’t build under a unique brand.

But as I said just here above, I’m in favour of switching from a hackathon for all to a hackathon for new builders and an accelerator for ā€œestablishedā€ projects that will get a boost in terms of visibility (comarketing, AMA’s,…), listing (on Tron frenz CEX such as Huobi/Polo), fundings (meeting with VC’s during crypto events for instance),…

And no worries, I love constructive discussions like this one :+1:

Btw, when I say JM is far from being the team that participated the most, the point is not to say ā€œthere is worseā€ hehe. Just wanna point out the fact that some people just come back with different products and it looks like they are new teams. I wouldn’t be surprised, if we purely remove ā€œold teamsā€, that some of them start creating new accounts to participate again. Especially when I see that some previous entries have been abandoned, website offline, no marketing,…
If winners, instead of getting cash, receive a pass to an accelerator for instance, that will discourage cash grabbers to join. It might even transform them in real long term builders

Got it. Yes, this is more expensive that PayPal currently. With PayPal, it is 2.9%. But then 2% is returned as credit card points. So that is a net fee of 0.9%, which is less than 1%.

We will definitely look into that, thanks again!

Since the payments are happening on blockchain it’s easy for us to see if the transaction has been done.

Email notifications is one of the planned features if this platform will have some usage.

Actually you can see paypal pricing here, it’s a way more than 2.9%

Also how does credit card points matter here? Are you talking about the pricing from payer perspective or the ā€œmerchantā€?

As payer you don’t pay any other fees than gas fees.
Merchant pays 1% + 0.25 usd. And merchant is not getting any credit card points

To clarify even more:

If you have a business and you make an invoice of 1000 USDT and send it to your client, you as a biller will receive 1000 USD minus 1% minus 0.25 USDT.

Your client who pays the invoice is only paying 1000 USDT plus gas fees of the chosen network. That’s it.

In Paypal the merchant pays like 3.4-5.4% fee plus fixed fee and if I understood correctly the payer also pays some fee.

However, there is a possibility that we might drop the pricing for JM Invoice in the future.

I could not connect using WalletConnect…

On the browser in opens the Metamask…(WalletConnect, TrustWallet buttons)

In the app browser build of TrustWallet it opens the pop up I press connect but it says welcome and the main page still show ā€œPlease connect your wallet to loginā€ā€¦ after I press Create invoice…

Using metamask it works…
Pressing upload after uploading might not be intuitive…

I did receive the email with the Invoice after a time…

You could maybe save it and attach the pdf with the invoice and a nicer formated email  …

It will be nice to invoice in certain coins not just fiat but rather use and select crypto from different chains as you have the infrastructure!

Thanks,

Thanks for the input, I will check the WalletConnect issue.

Also I agree it could upload the file straight away without needing to press the upload button. Thanks for the idea.

Thank you for clarifying. I myself am paying 2.9% + $0.49. This is for low-volume USD credit card transactions in USA and I do not have any monthly fee or premium status attached to that. (Of which 2% typically goes back to the buyer as credit card points.)

But with your help I now see people in other currencies and locations are paying higher fees.

Its really sad, how some team after winning, just grab the cash and abandon the project and come back again the following season and say they didn’t realize their previous project was not ready for the market.

And as you pointed out, some people come back every season but they are not well established brand so its quite difficult to identify them and single them out at first glance.

If @JustMoney gets the needed support to stand strong on their two feets they can abandon the hackathon and play with the big boys, but bear market is tough to find anyone interested in pushing a good project like this one or any other one for that matter.

Yeah in with JM pay you pay nothing as buyer except the gas fees.

And like with any payment gateway, it’s the merchant who pays the fees and normally they are more than our 1%

And our direct customers (users) of this product (JM invoice) are billers/merchants.
