Hello @everyone let’s recap STAR-EX on this month
As it stated previously the May plans:
- Multiplayer --(result)–> 80% accomplished cause still not merged into main demo; we are able to make matchmaking system v2.1.x and should be merged soon by dev.
- Core gameplay trailer preparation → moving this to June.
- Gamebook release with tier balance and crafting components → 50% completion; moving to next month’s roadmap.
- Chainlink bridge update and new game events → 90% accomplished on the contract side → basic interface not implemented
- Announcement for WL registration → behind schedule; we are releasing it with the approval of our new graphic designer soon. I also mistakenly overlooked the HackaTRON schedule because require to allocate resources efficiently.
- Release visual gameplay trailer → moving this to June with open WL registration + designers.
Yes, it is not 100% milestones here. Perhaps because the adaptability of priority is still related to certain situations, although this is consider normal as good project generally adapt to macro market and always prioritised for the best impactful in the short term goal. So we are also achieving on other progress this month:
- Fixed cross-chain tokenized database system.
- Fixed claim cross-chain issue.
- Finalized incentive resources control concept.
- Substrate chain integration to bring Polkadot system.
- Claim feature and cross-chain (contract + backend) → interface not implemented.
- Cross-chain crafting (contract only) → interface not implemented.
As mentioned, we are currently in the recruiting process, and those we bring on board will be focused on the STAR-EX team. Most of the members are currently associated with Theras Labs, which will also grow independently in the future.
STAR-EX will continue to utilize blockchain agnostic technology provided by Theras Labs, leveraging it within our game. We plan to integrate Theras tokenomics $TGEM into our future incentive program from their emission distribution.
So for now the game will heavily use native tokens for early events and resource pools first to easily on board players and development. This means TRX-BTT tokens will be initially utilized in the pool, crafting program, and the sale of STARSHIP NFTs.
We anticipate a supply of roughly 80k - 200k ships (16 ships) within the TRON-BTT ecosystem. For comparison, STAR ATLAS (a Solana-based GameFi project) has launched 120 ships (over 1 million supply NFTs across all their rarities) and it’s exclusively on Solana.
Meanwhile, STAR-EX plans to release ships on other major chains as well to maintain the value and exclusivity of the ships as well as the community event integrations.
I recognize what we need to improve to enhance our first batch. That’s why, I’ve just recruited the Lead Graphic Designer, and he’s exceptionally talented. His artwork, fonts, and everything perfectly suit our vision. I’ve also hired a freelance concept artist with a similar style within the vision, so you’ll see more of his artwork in the upcoming weeks( perhaps within the next 3 weeks) and with mix realistic art too.
Both of these hires will be crucial for our first batch of NFT-SHIPS minting on BTTC and attracting other communities. I realize our strength lies in our vision that can make the game sustainable, but our weakness in attracting people still need some work, and this is where the design comes in.
While some games have cool design artwork, their NFT use case or game is a crap. Ours has a great use-case and a visionary goal to be the game leader within the blockchain ecosystem, but lack of design team. Our current 3D artist isn’t into machinery stuff, so it’s already great to receive her help and transition her to a different sector (to another upcoming game under Theras Labs with another game-dev). While we already have another candidate lined up. With a strong design team, we can confidently market and promote on social media to attract more people.
Especially some of those artists themselves already have fanbase. So, it will be great to make their art a reality within our game, as our game offers a realm effect similar to their art style. (Yes, I mentioned, the game can have multiple dimensions where this anomaly will change the effect into anime Ghibli, pixels, realistic, and many more.)
This is why I will allocate the prize fund to our design team. This allocation will be fully used to pay our core team for their contributions. Personally, I’ll only take enough for me for event travel perhaps. as what I want the vision to be accomplished.
Design and art sector will improve our game interface and social to engage our MASSIVE community. When there’s a massive community, there are investors knocking, and when there are investors, then we can hire more expert devs. More expert devs mean the project will be okay. When it’s running properly, then we are generating our own revenue. Only later we will introduce incentive programme to attract more, as play to earn judged as heavily bad game, and we want to focus to be active esports web3 game.
It’s a pity, on design recruitment, I found many motion designers, UI/UX designers, machinery 3D artists, Moebius concept artists, but we don’t have enough funds to pick all of them yet. So, we need prioritization and several offers of freelance time projects. Although actually we want to allocate the NFT sale into artist competition later.
Looking ahead to June, STAR-EX will begin launching on the TRON-BTTC ecosystem.

We’re eager to progress and prefer not to join the S7 so other projects can succeed. Instead, we aim to nourish the TRON community and sell the idea to other communities to collaborate and create a healthy game competition between network chain.
We’re developing and releasing progressively, rather than waiting for the full game, while considering the practical balance of each update release because eventually the game will never finish and always evolve.

hello., when you describe your game as cross-chain, does that mean that it will be possible to play together with users from different blockchains?
Yes, you will race and explore together with other from different blockchain or you may fight them. There will collaboration and competition or a player might use multiple blockchain to optimise their crafting system and strategy.
Each blockchain will have its own resources/nft. on mini game soon there will be weekly resources war for Major factions (popular blockchains only up to 5 or 6) and will can have their exclusive gameplays.
The minor factions will be 12 up to 20 for new/small blockchain. That’s our goal on 1st and 2nd year. As we continue to plan integrate with many then it will be separated by league for minor blockchains. Tier 1 league (32 max blockchains), Tier 2 league, etc.
This game will function as a hub, bridging established and emerging chains. So Veteran chains will form the Major Faction, guiding the game’s direction with the growing community across various blockchains. Majors will engage in challenges amongst themselves, and Minors amongst themselves, reflecting their comparable status and popularity. But there will be no competition between Major and Minor, the game will encourage symbiotic relationships between the different tiers of networks, fostering a diverse and interconnected gaming ecosystem.
Major: will have control resources and main NFT (spaceship, planets, abilities, crafting house etc)
Minor: will have material for crafting instead

As cross-chain GameFi team will moving forward with TRON and BTTC on our first mainnet resource. Previously our plan to deploy on BTTC first and after couple of months we can deploy to TRON.
Now as time for us closer to mainnet, we have decided to bring these 2 on our first batch as a tag team events making our cross-chain shine the most. This also for us to learn the actual market between these 2.

I’m apologize to judge for last couple of days. The demo build turn out not working on our gameplay due to new integration with chainlink and staging migration (preparing mainnet)
Apparently we are using chainlink vrf and automation for resources control, and new on-chain gameplay events.

it’s different case.
for mainnet plan, we go for NFT sale which means, we are deploying tokenised asset and shop contract with off-chain singer. So NFT launch will still ongoing, and this should still gonna pass mainnet qualification.
for mini-game, this one still uncertain best time moving from pre-alpha into alpha stage. Once the control is cooking, can go to do more stress testing and anti-bot check then joining the mainnet feature. Might delay to july, since I just hired 2 potential game-devs but they are still low-skill and need to mentor them to level (Due to low fund especially havent received prize, I’m investing on quality people joining to me) but they’re just focus on control-system and 1 more game dev focused on our terrain that using procedural generation. So +3 new game-dev for STAR-EX, +1 FE dev on part time. There’s reason why i invite 2 game-dev (not low but also already know basic, but not expert as well) because i make programme and want them to compete to stay motivated on learning
despite that im taking this risky decision, but this is for the game closer to perfection for what i have envision.
