Project Test Instructions:

Mint NFT -

  1. Visit https://xmutant.xyz/.
  2. Hover on Create and Click on Mint NFT.
  3. Upload the image and fill in the other required details on the page
  4. In the collection field, create a new collection if not created earlier and then Mint the NFT.

Mint Generative Art -

  1. Visit https://xmutant.xyz/.
  2. Hover on Create and click on Mint Generative Art.
  3. After checking your .zip file carefully, click on “I’ve carefully checked my .zip file” and click on “Time to Mint”.
  4. Select “You” if you’re the sole author or “Collaboration” for multiple authors (Collaboration feature is Coming Soon).
  5. Upload a .zip file of your art in the Upload section and click on Upload.
  6. Double-check your Generative Token to see if it behaves properly on the IPFS network, and find a hash for the thumbnail preview.
  7. Configure how previews will be generated each time your token is collected, and ensure different hashes generate different outputs.
  8. When collectors mint a token, xmutant will generate a preview image, so configure how this preview will be captured.
  9. Check the preview image against the Generative Artwork to ensure they match.
  10. In the Distribution Step, enter details like the number of editions, pricing method, and price, then click Next Step.
  11. Explore variations settings to define how much freedom users will have in exploring the variety of your Generative Token.
  12. In the Project Details Step, enter the name, description, tags, and other details about your piece.
  13. In the Preview and Mint step, take a final look to check if the project is properly configured.
  14. After previewing, publish the project to mint your generative art.

Welcome to Hackathon Season 6, I’m trying my hands on Generative AI and the whole concept is almost looking like an artistic hub for Generative AI lol, glad to see this in the Artistry track also.
From my read, I see that The XMutant project outlines a comprehensive approach to transform the generative art landscape, intending to transform the way generative art is created, displayed, and commercialized by emphasizing artist empowerment, cooperation, diversity, creativity, and sustainability.

XMutant is being built on the BTTC network. And to answer your second question, we were inspired to create a specialized NFT marketplace for generative art to elevate its status and empower artists worldwide. By providing a curated platform for generative art, we envision XMutant fostering collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity within the global artistic community.
