But think of a scenario which someone is jealous of a project and try to hire bots to vote on that project, which everything is not even the intention of the project developer. Hence, we cant really avoid this scenario by taking down the project which has bot votes, as there exists bad actor situation. The only thing we can do is to enforce the voting requirement or somehow some threshold~

You just made a vital point.
Yes , I support the voting rights upgrade

Te doy toda la razón, tendría que evaluarse detenidamente este tema.

Very true I saw such practices last voting period.
I think the best to do is remove the bots accounts.
When you said a threshold do you mean like a certain amount of bot votes a submission can get to be disqualified? If yes then I don’t agree because if I wanted to sabotage a project or wining project I can just flood the votes with bot votes and get them all disqualified.

Of course is some threshold regarding of voting rights~

Same thing happened last season and the team reported it. This season too same thing happened.

This is why I suggested this

Interesting points you’ve made bro. Now this leaves us with the challenges of eliminating bots from voting and I strongly believe that with the introduction of CAPTCHAs, we will succeed in making it more difficult for bots to vote.

Good discussions so far! Please take note that a “bot” is not merely an automated program. Behind most of these bot accounts, there is an actual human managing it, creating multiple accounts, and meeting the minimum voting requirements just to cast votes for a specific project when the time comes. Consequently, a captcha alone will not deter these “human bots.” However, you can rely on us to thoroughly examine the actions taken by each account before considering a vote as authentic.

There was a question regarding how certain accounts with low read times can make a fair vote. It’s worth mentioning that some accounts may not be logged in while reviewing projects, which is why their stats may not appear on the frontend. Nevertheless, in the next season, we may implement stricter measures and remove accounts that show no intention of participating in community building on the forum but rather function solely for the purpose of casting votes.

Thank you all for the insightful discussions, and let’s continue to strive for improvement in the upcoming season! :+1: (p.s. we are also eagerly awaiting the publication of the winners’ announcement PR. Stay tuned!)

Thank you for this, it shows the admins actually listens to the cry of its members

I believe the idea of thoroughly examining accounts to ensure the authenticity of votes is a nice one and will help in fishing out those projects that encourages the creation of multi accounts for the purpose of maximising votes. It’s great to see that in the next season stricter measures will be implemented to prevent accounts that only exist for the purpose of voting from participating. I hope these measures will make the voting process more fair and transparent.
