No, I’m not mistaken anything. You’ve already answered my question here
Our disagreement is where you said that;
Which made me question the people such survey was conducted with because to me, knowing source of my information is so paramount.

Thank you for clarifying the nature of the $UP token and clarifying your concept on distraction Your explanation makes everything clear to me now. One more question I seek clarity on is the specific features you plan to implement to enhance the discovery and sharing of content across various platforms
welcome team.
This type of projects, I see similar in almost every season but do not see them in action. What makes this different.
Let me break this down with Instagram (or even YouTube’s homepage, if that’s more familiar to you).
When you open the Discovery page, you’ll notice that nearly 100% of the content is curated to match your interests. If nothing catches your eye, you’ll likely keep scrolling to get even more content. The platform understands your need for instant gratification.
Now, let me ask you: whether you’re on Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter, when you come across content that doesn’t interest you, do you really need to know the identity behind each piece for those not interested for your right away? Do you open them one by one? despite you don’t want to see it? Do you always check every identity of every content shown in your screen? Ain’t nobody have time for that, for that screen above already 13 contents shown in the 1st scroll. I don’t think users will check every 13 identity of those contents before scrolling to load more contents. Only what caught user’s interest, unless you are AI for web-scrapping, then you will immediately check each content’s owner identity.
Most of the time, you only care about the identity for the content that grabs your attention. Think about how much content you scroll past daily without even noticing it. If you check every identity of a content, you won’t have time to see the other contents! The volume of content that flashes across our screens far exceeds what we actually stop to engage with, leaving most of it unnoticed and unclicked. This reflects how much content we unconsciously filter out in our daily interactions with social media.
If Instagram believed that every piece of content needed an immediate association with its creator, they would display profile icons more prominently on each post. But to actually get the creator’s identity, you need to click into the content. This reflects a simple truth: users prioritize ENGAGING CONTENT over who created it. Yes, sometimes you see the content because of the users, but for unknown users to get more engaged are always based on their content.
Look at platforms like 9gag, 4chan, or even meme-heavy Reddit threads. On these sites, the creator’s identity doesn’t matter nearly as much as the quality of the meme or content. People often have no idea who owns the accounts behind the posts, but they keep coming back because it’s the content that holds their interest—not the identity behind it.
As mentioned, this is rough research, not official or intended for public release (conducted solely for our own due diligence). Rest assured, we will share some preliminary findings in our upcoming litepaper. The research is also Observational type and Survey Research based.
The beginning of survey was conducted via our livestream, led by our team during the early stages of building Theras. We later reanalyzed the data, which contributed to the birth of BuzzUp!
Most of the survey data came from insta-polls conducted by our team member @kalalaa__, and she will help drive BUZZUP’s initial user engagement in late October. Everything is still a work in progress, with notes, data, and survey results being refined as we diligently prepare for the upcoming litepaper.
Nope, doubt it!
There are many socialFi on every hackathon, but we are not just socialFi XD
What makes this different? I think the product neither intend to compete with other social-media, we nurture them instead because we are just re-using and re-calculate the algorithm, we become gateway!
If you think similar, please feel free to share!
and you will see the action soon once early mobile app is live! We have our team-members as influencers, she will lead this with her friends to get EARLY USERBASE!
Remember buzzUp does not store content; instead, we facilitate the reuse of existing posts. When users want to share content on our platform, they must select a container, such as Twitter, Lens, YouTube, or others, to handle their posts. In this way, BuzzUp acts as a middleware, streamlining the content-sharing process.
There are significant benefits to posting through BuzzUp, even let’s say if the final content originates from Twitter (basically making twitter post in buzzup). This will be further explained during the pre-selection period, which will outline the involvement of $BUZZ and how it enhances user engagement. The reason for this approach is to align our development efforts with the release of information. We are committed to moving quickly with this innovative idea!
okay all the best team
Posting content will be free; however, promoting content will require $UP tokens. The cost will depend on the pool of the content according to the algorithm. For example, if the content is about random new sports, the promotion cost will be low. However, if the user wants their content to be in the top 10% of their region, it will be more costly in $UP. So ideally, purchasing a significant amount of $UP tokens upfront can simplify this process.
The subscription feature is not finalized yet, but it is currently planned to be monthly. Users will be able to store all their discovery track records.
Our app is still in development. We started working on BuzzUp this month, with the idea originating in August. However, you will be able to test it around late October because our development team is working hard!
The T-shirts are part of our street engagement initiative. Our content influencers will first travel around our local region before expanding globally (hopefully). Rest assured, we have various virtual engagement strategies inside the buzzup itself that may be even more effective to keep the users coming back!
No, we are excited to welcome millions of users! However, we don’t want to set unrealistic expectations and instead prefer to focus on our progress.
Thank you! We will share the link ASAP to our mobile app + webapp
in this late oct!
Yes, we will likely only use these cross-interactions with Polkadot and Binance too to wrap the token next year, but starting first with the TRON blockchain because we want to focus on the app development, and not just web3 interaction! This is the first time buzzup shared publicly!
Hi dear …
How does BuzzUp’s bidding system work for gaining top trending spots, and what factors influence the bidding process?
In what ways does BuzzUp’s algorithm optimize content visibility based on demand and supply dynamics?
How does BuzzUp ensure genuine interaction among users, and what measures are in place to prevent the use of fake followers or inflated metrics?
What types of content can users aggregate from existing social platforms, and how does this integration enhance their overall engagement?
Will the app be purely focused on aggregating content and enhancing visibility in its early stages, or are there other features planned for later versions?
I use my socials to balance my mental health and my daily activities
Hey brother how are you doing buddy I think other features will be included, a lot of features make up a social platform I guess gaming is part
Thank you for your reply to me, from your reply to me it is very clear how you are going to be handling traffic very very well and I also like the way you explain things, please tell me as you’re user base is increasing how are you going to be handling user data? Are you going to allow your users to control their data themselves, thank you
Thank you for your detailed explanation, wishing you all the best as you continue to build
This is engage-to-earn, but BuzzUp pulls content from other platforms, BuzzUp reuses and redistributes those contents. Users can earn $BUZZ by being active on BuzzUp, such as sharing, liking, or retweeting content from platforms like Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Farcaster, and more, which has been aggregated through BuzzUp.
BuzzUp acts as a middleware, layering content from various social media platforms into one place. When you interact with a post on BuzzUp, such as liking or sharing, that interaction is mirrored on the original platform. For example, if you like a tweet through BuzzUp, the like will also register on Twitter—but the action must be done through BuzzUp to earn $BUZZ.
$BUZZ is important for increasing your profile grade because BuzzUp doesn’t use a followers-following system. Instead of relying on the traditional measure of popularity through followers, we’ve introduced a grading system for high-ranking profiles.
So, the more you contribute and stay active on BuzzUp, the more you’re rewarded. We believe that a loyal user who has been contributing for a year shouldn’t be overshadowed by a celebrity who joins for a day and gains instant fame. Our goal is to create a fair system that rewards everyone equally for their activity and contribution.
If you’re a new user and want to boost your rank quickly, you can simply buy and hold $BUZZ tokens. This is somewhat similar to Reddit’s MOON token, where users who accumulate MOONs reflect their long-standing activity and contribution to the platform’s growth.
Instead of buying fake followers that don’t genuinely enhance your profile, BuzzUp lets you earn or purchase $BUZZ, which effectively boosts your profile, popularity, and engagement within BuzzUp. This also creates a ripple effect that benefits your presence on all connected platforms like YouTube, Twitter, and others.
Meanwhile, instead of purchasing fake views that don’t lead to true engagement, using $UP tokens will help your content be organically showcased to other users, driving authentic growth. Users can also utilize their $BUZZ tokens within BuzzUp to create incentive programs that reward fans or readers who engage with their content.

So again for UP, simply acquire them if you want to boost the visibility of your content. We will help the algorithm reach thousands—if not millions—of our users

When influencers join BuzzUp, they can verify their identity by connecting their other social platforms and will be rewarded with $BUZZ instantly. If they choose to sell these tokens right away, their profile grade will decrease. On the other hand, if they hold onto the $BUZZ tokens, they can maintain a higher account grade and continue to earn more rewards. This encourages long-term engagement and loyalty to the platform.
BuzzUp plans to implement ERC-4337, which allows for a seamless user experience by enabling transactions without the need for direct wallet interactions. Users will register their addresses initially, eliminating the complexities associated with bridging or swapping. This approach streamlines the process for users transitioning from Web2 to Web3, as we utilize Web2 API platforms to facilitate a smooth integration.
The app is designed to be user-friendly; users simply connect their accounts from various social media platforms and can start scrolling through all content recommended by twitter, youtube, etc immediately while earning $BUZZ. This approach streamlines the transition for users coming from Web2, as we leverage Web2 API platforms to facilitate smooth integration. Our goal is to make engaging with content and earning rewards as effortless as possible.
At BuzzUp, we serve as an aggregator for content from other social platforms, meaning we do not handle our own content. Our primary focus is on enhancing visibility and improving user engagement. Each connected social platform has its own established privacy guidelines—Here’s below of how they handle it.
// etc, you surely can find more other privacy guideline for instagram, tiktok, etc.
By leveraging these existing frameworks, BuzzUp prioritizes user privacy while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Hi, you can read this one for the answer! 🫶🏻
The bidding process operates behind the scenes, allowing users to simply observe price spikes, similar to how token swaps fluctuate over time. The prices can change rapidly, meaning that in just a minute, the outcome can be quite different. Factors influencing these price changes include when multiple users want to spotlight their content within the same category and timeframe.
you can read more the sample scenario here:
The algorithm tailors content recommendations based on individual user preferences and behavior, ensuring that users are more likely to see content that aligns with their interests. This already handled by system from the other social platform as we are just middleware and reusing them and add integration of $UP tokens into the visibility process means that users can invest in their content’s exposure based on perceived value. As demand for visibility increases, the algorithm adapts to ensure that only the most relevant and engaging content reaches users effectively.
As time goes on, we will gather better data and analyze engagement metrics more effectively. This will eventually allow us to capitalize on our own machine learning, but we are not at that level yet, as we have just started.
Since we operate as a middleware, we leverage interactions from other social platforms. Each of these platforms has its own measures to ensure genuine user interaction:
//and many more you can look into each platform!
The birth of BuzzUp came from our recognition that it’s challenging to completely prevent fake interactions, as the issue continues to evolve. This is why BuzzUp exists!: to mitigate the impact of fake interactions rather than eliminate them entirely. Attempting to do so could undermine the nature of social engagement, as some users may not want to fully reveal their identities.
Just like Twitter and Instagram, our social platform do not perform strong KYC (Know Your Customer) checks on our users, as this is not how social platforms traditionally operate. We’re not a centralized exchange (CEX) or any platform that handles financial transactions requiring stringent identity verification. We are probably just verify email, phone and similar like other social platforms (discord, instagram, twitter, etc).
Any type of content available from other social platforms can be aggregated on BuzzUp—we serve as a gateway! Amazingly, on Farcaster, users can customize their posts to the next level and even code the content itself. We aim to extend this capability to posts from other social platforms as well, allowing users to further customize their content in BuzzUp.
Instead of opening each platform one by one, users will be able to access everything through BuzzUp. This is our goal!
Wow this is good I must confess.
My favourite part is not having to be a big influencer before your posts gain visibility
It’s strictly a step to step kinda game
I luv it
Is they something like game one can play in #BUZZUP ?
