Hehehe it is just like voting
Most people votes for their favorite projects and not the ones they think did well.
Have we ever talked about that? Except those who use bots.
All I want to see is the 1.4 million users to make this forum competitive since we have been saying there are not more than 10 active that’s why people make it easily which I do not agree because everyone do their best to get there.
No one is restricting others to join, we should encourage them to continue being supportive and add value to the content they provide
Lols, the algorithm will be over worked you know.
Let’s start with the over 2,000+ sign up so far in this HACKATHON.
Pretty good numbers

It’s easy to tell you’re building a crypto resume. I mean a crypto bro like yourself, with vast knowledge in this space it’s only right and a matter of time you curate the right documentation to backup your experience and expertise.
And indeed, a certificate like that would be a fantastic bragging right! Lol
Crafting a resume that highlights your contributions to the TronDao forum and other crypto-related accomplishments will set you apart in the industry. Remember, emphasizing tangible achievements like your three-time contributor’s prize wins and potential certificates can greatly impress potential employers or collaborators who value active involvement in the crypto community. Keep up the great work!

Maybe we can form a Ghanaian/Nigerian group and put out a request for that.

That will be great. If anyone here knows someone from Nigeria who is in Ghana we can link up
This is very good good moves.
I could lead the movement for Nigeria.
@Youngyuppie could join me.

Do you understand the conversation?
Do you know any Nigerian in Ghana?
Na wa for you o.
I understood the convo
But anyway don’t worry.
Well, you took the “down side” of my proposition which is excluding those who have been selected by the algo for the wrong reasons.
But you can also see the “up side” which is:
For each season, 10 contributors are selected to get a prize in USDD. But potentially, we could offer the certificate to 50 people if we have 50 active members asking interesting questions and keeping the forum alive. So it’s also an opportunity to give recognition to those who unfortunately didn’t make it to the top 10 but still deserve some “hats off”.

Exactly. Humans probably can’t make a top 10 of contributors cause you would take days to read it all and take notes and make some calculations. The algo is the easy solution.
But when it comes to certificate, that could be offered to more users if more than 10 users have contributed highly.
We could have 10 persons very active but bringing no real plusvalue (hence my example of people who would join to spam welcome, great project. Could also be people saying good morning to every projects every morning and good night every night
would be an easy 200 messages per day if 100 participants
).
And in the same time you could have 50 persons who ask interesting questions, give great advices and make great observations but only post maybe 4-5 messages a day. They wouldn’t be in top 10 but would definitely deserve some kind of recognition

Just to complete my last message, I would see a certificate like a way to say “thanks for what you brought to Tron and web3 in general”.
According to that, saying “welcome” and talking about the weather keeps the forum alive… yeah, but you have to consider this: what kind of impact did you have? Did you help a project to realise his full potential by pointing issues or suggesting some improvements? Did you help newbies to stay safe by explaining the basic ways to protect their assets? Did you suggest to build products that could solve issues? If yes, then you had imo a positive impact on Tron and deserve some recognition, no matter if you have been selected in the top 10 or not.

Yh in as much as we say welcome and good morning, we should atleast take the pain to ask thoughtful questions that provoke innovations and creativity.
We are all here for the love of tron and want the best for all tronics around the globe.
I know everyone has learnt alot from this thread and will from now put in a little more effort to put projects and TronDao on their toes.
Good job done guys. @Prince-Onscolo, @manfred_jr, @Nweke-nature1.com, @fabsltsa
U deserve one bottle of beer each

I’ll take the bottle of beer with pleasure
Don’t forget this forum only saw bearmarket so far
Only the die hard are still around. Let’s see how it goes when the market starts picking up
Being following this conversation for a while now and I think the two opposing ideas have a bit of values to be grabbed from it. Speaking from my experience, I can say it’s frustrating to come in the forum and be reading volumes of messages that has little to nothing to offer as values but on another thought, such little endeavours we thought that doesn’t worth anything has been what’s keeping this forum active. Referencing from the 1st and 2nd seasons, everyone who has been taking active participation here will definitely agree with me that immediately after the announcement of results, quietness is the next thing the embraces the forum apart from the recent last 2 seasons. Not recognising the efforts of those people that are doing those silling things will definitely turn this forum into a cash hub, where members only visits during hackathons to grab some bucks.
And for those other opinion that centered on those with valuable impacts such as asking insightful questions and giving advise to developers on how best to shape their projects to meet the community’s demands and expectations, it’s equally a wonderful ideas because a lot of people here don’t have that time to chit-chat on the forum but their contribution speaks volume.
So the best thing is bridging these two ideas and work out something from it. Maybe, giving out the cash prizes to the most outstanding members (putting in consideration 40% of activeness in the forum and 60% of values their engagement in the forum has brought). And extra 20 certificate of participation, as NFTs, to other participants that contributed immensely in making the hackathon a success. This way, the will know that though they didn’t make it in the cash prize, but their contributions are highly recognised and well appreciated.
Conclusively, instead of losing our heads on which members that got what, at the end of each hackathons, we should focus more on developers that has been receiving the bulk of the prizes and keep abandoning their projects halfway, only to participate in the next hackathon with a fresh project to receive prizes with again, which they will still abandon halfway after receiving another prize with the new project
This is why I appreciate what @Dendorion has been doing for the past couple of days. Let’s please help him to clean up all these cash grabbers/hunters in the hackathon.

Why 20 certificates? If 50 deserve it, let’s send 50.
Hahaha you have said it all.
All my plenty talks is to let us know most spammers we always see are not in for top 10 prizes but to get the basic badge to enable them vote for their projects. We can all testify these guys who do these always need the badge just for voting. Aside that our previous winners even if they create chit-chat you could see same people busy under submissions asking questions.
Those spammers from telegram they are making reference always create topics for likes to get basic badge and most of them don’t even know there is something called contributors prize.
Again you have said something which I said earlier.
This energy about who post what is enough, what about those who waste all our time. We will ask them questions suggest all what we know and after receiving prizes they leave.
We should channel this energy to them.
@Nana66419 thank you. Give me malt
I don’t take beer
For me those active here I will encourage them to do what they do. I love it. For spammers they will always come and for the love of basic badge they will continue doing what they do always
.
This is an open platform just like other social media platforms. Such things can’t be avoided. Filter those you want to read and leave the rest.
We are on Twitter people post all sort of things there. My only advice to them is not to post their tagged “non sense” comments under submissions.
Sometimes, you will post security tips and they will comment “I like this project”

But most of them are hunting for basic badge to enable them to vote and not to make any list
