Also interesting fact, it could be an nft linked to KYC (or not) and non-transferable. Which means people couldn’t make a business out of it.

Hahahahaha! You are right bro! The only thing those guys are after is getting the basic badge to vote for the projects they invested on and immediately they got the badge, they disappear into the thin air. Most, if not all, of them don’t even when much about the forum or hackathon, not to talk about knowing about the contributor’s prize. We see them in every season and gradually they disappear :joy:

And for those developers, it frustrate me a lot that after having the community crack their brains to come up with a great idea that could help them in developing their projects and pushing it to achieve success, they will abandon all that, with the hope of submitting a new project for hackathon participation. I think this have to stop in this season. Any developer submitting a new project in this season 5 HackaTRON should be made to tell us the level of success he has achieved with his previous project

Thank you active contributor for this information.
Reading through I could say the following.

  1. Maybe not able to read through the volumes of the so called meaningless message by telegram bot/ the active ones could lead to LOSE OF SOME BADGES example REGULAR

  2. We have seen quietness after Hackathon announcement, untill recently increased activity on going by the active ones we all know.

For me, here is also my everyday social media.

  1. I don’t see reason why the active or contributors should be attacked in this agrument.
    Everyone’s trying their best for this forum, Tron and it’s HACKATHON, finally for themselves.

Our attention should be:-
WE JOIN FORCE WITH @Dendorion in calling out the cash grab project of each session, cause if care not taken,
THEY MAY DAMAGE THE REPUTATION OF THIS FORUM AND TRON HACKATHON AS A WHOLE.

Exactly, and by that way, we will get to know what you have been able to achieved with the support we gave you during the hackathon and what you have done with the fund you won with our votes. I believe this strategy, if used, will save the network from having a lot of abandoned projects :thinking:

And while sharing their opinions on the certificate of participation for the community members, we will also want to know what their opinions are, regarding the recent out cry of the community on the rate some developers abandon the project they previously won a hackathon with, to participate in a current hackathon with a new project.

REFRESHER WORKSHOPS. Suggestion 2.0

Concentrating on developers are very important but abandoning contributors in the process is like putting the cart before the horse.

Projects survive and thrive based on the Valuable feedbacks gotten from users (contributors).

How then do we ensure that contributors can make valuable suggestions, ask thoughtful questions and make great recommendations.?

I think time has to be taken off to give refresher courses to contributors on how, where and when to punch holes in an upcoming project.

  1. Areas to concentrate in our questioning
  2. How to analyze a forum post and give fantastic feedbacks
  3. What to look out for when trying out a particular dapp and how to frame a question if you think you have one.

This to me will make the team relaxed whiles the members of the forum do the needful.

Also this will curb the….

  • Welcome and good morning
  • Great project and i like it
  • Are you from pluto? You are the best, you don’t look human comments.

A zoom or google meet session can be organized for the contributors.

We have been left out for far too long, we need some special attention to deliver top notch feedbacks to help drive the tron train to Valhalla.
