It seems like with el nino climate issues a fungus has affected the cocoa supply in Africa. The price of cocoa is skyrocketing.

I love chocolate hopefully it can go back down. :laughing:

I own a cocoa farm, not big

I spenf a lot maintaining it so we deserve higher prices :joy: When you visit Ghana I will take you to my farm. My Dad also own one and his is big as compare to mine. We are suffering we need higher prices lol

Are your cocoa farms suffering from the fungus affecting the plants though? The price is going up because lack of supply.

Also, it might be the case that worldwide prices are now 4x than what they are but the price in the country might not be adjusting fast enough or someone along the supply line is taking all the $$.

But a good time to have a farm. Good opportunity.

I don’t think my farm is under attack from these fungus. My dad hasn’t complained of anything of that sort. I will try and go there this week. Over a year now I haven’t been there myself lol
