A New book reader and optimized design !

A cross-platform book reader App that downloads the PDF from the permanent blockchain Arweave, and display each page as an image.

The Book Download page

The Book Reader

  • Each book has its own public URL, and can be shared with your friends or contacts.
  • There is no need to have an Apprentice Key to access the book.
  • Each download is cached, and all your favorite books are pre-downloaded in the background.

Better performances

There significant gain of a smaller javascript footprint by leveraging your device local storage and calling the permanent immutable web only once.

A new Solidity contract

A new smart contract [TestNet](https://datapond.earth/(https://shasta.tronscan.org/#/contract/TTMkMJLXtoWohVKzip8uUPzVB8EPpb9smE/code) and MainNet (coming soon)

It improve the bandwidth management, and lower the fees ( Your initial vote cost about 1 Million Energy - and is your Apprentice key Backup )

It is still in testing on Shasta TestNet - and will go live after more feedback.

A new Leveling system

A simpler and more concise approach to story telling…

Initial Page

Level 1 => Explore the alley

Level 2 => Start choosing some books

Level4 => Apprentice Key

A blog & a some more followers !

Datapond now got a blog, and the facebook page has reached 400 followers in less than a month after launch !

A new Tron workflow

This release see a new rewrite of the Tron integration in the library. Now using the solid.js framework, it is only available on testnet for now.

An easy to use Wallet Connect screen

A new Time lock vote to protect from spam

Solid.JS

We went for a solid.js choice, and SolidPond sounds as cool as AstroPond.

All of the library has been rewritten with Solid.JS - while keeping astro as a static page generator that solid boots from.

Why Solid.js and not React or Vue or Svelte ? please click this link to learn more.

Some bad news…

The New TRON Reader Circle is delayed

Access the Tron Reader Circle to access book recommendations made by the TRON community.

Keyboard nav is disabled for now

Each book having it’s own url is a pretty solid thing.

I am really glad to see how great and far that you have coming right from when season 6 started, I wish you all the best of things and continue doing amazing things, thank you

This project sounds fascinating, It combines the love of reading with gamified learning and self-improvement, all wrapped in a sustainable and ethical framework.
Q1
Are there plans to integrate any kind of “real-life challenges” that users can complete based on the books they read? Imagine finishing a book on productivity and then receiving a challenge to implement a new time management technique for a week.

Its Great to see that you are still putting in the work

The D-Safe Library Game seems like a fantastic project with the potential to democratize access to knowledge and foster a love of learning in a safe and engaging way.
I’m excited to see how it develops

Hello!

A very late answer, but an update.

There is now a new version of the library online, which is much more accessible.

You can see a developer preview at

I was hoping to participate to the next Hackathon, but I have heard it is not coming this year ?
