That’s the point made above, some users DON’T CARE about what is written in the message they are replying to, nor about what is written in their answer and don’t want to learn.
Have you seen those people posting 1 long ass comment with several questions in under 1 minute for all the hackathon entries in a row ?
How do you read a post, think about questions, ask ChatGPT to formulate them properly for you and come back to paste it in under a minute?
You need to be more specific here. Should a project that has built a product by themselves and wrote a presentation by themselves but used AI to make it sound more professional and engaging be banned?
I’d go even further, should project owners who have used AI to speed up the development time and lower the costs be DQed? I’m not sure. Lot of pro devs use AI cause they can make some tasks in 1 hour instead of 2 and a half.
But for me the point of all those AI discussions is not about is AI bad or good. It’s about what we do with it, the intention behind it and the consequences. People who really want to contribute and bring something valuable should be welcomed
What I’m saying here is that I have seen a lot of project owners who heavily depend on ChatGPT to answer community members questions and I don’t understand their reasons for that. Is it that they don’t fully understand the project they claimed to be developing or what?
When I asked a project owner a question on his project and notice that they generated the answer with ChatGPT, it become an off for me. I end the discussion there because they have proofed to me that they don’t understand the project they claimed that they own
Ah yeah I agree with you. I don’t like it neither. Feels also kind of lack of respect in some ways. Hard to judge since I don’t know personally those doing that but I felt like questions bothered them and they just want to get rid of it in 2 minutes with AI. Or, as you said, that they don’t know what the product is actually about
For this question I agree with @HODL. New flag type can be added, which is “AI comment” or smt similar. If someone gets that warning maybe around 30-50 times ('cause many people will flag same comment), that person can get a warning. And if it happens again, that account can be banned for a while. Details are up to the team.
I’m afraid that not many teams are naturally “ecology-oriented”. That track would then be pretty empty until cash grabbers notice it and start pushing some fake projects. Lot of eco-friendly projects past seasons but how many are still alive?
Having them in web3 track is fine for me. And as this topic is important, judges and community can take it into account if they think the project has a chance to grow and sustain.
I guess by nature I see all projects as basically web3. That’s why each season is a little more crowded than the others.
But you’re definitely right when you say that there are many who “take prize and disappear”. Maybe it would be more logical to separate web3 among themselves.
I have read comments about AI, honestly speaking, I think people are over using it, sometime I just think if they actually take their time to read projects and understand, it’s will be easy for this project owner to reply you organically. for instance you will see someone coming in and used 1mins asking questions with more than 30 projects at a spot and I wonder how they did it if not for the help of AI which is bad, because I believe asking questions organically will help you understand the project better than asking generated Chatgbt questions. Ok tell me why this project owner will not respond you with Chatgbt too?
for example you are ask to host a space or say something about Tron which I believe it’s will flow naturally, which is the same thing by putting it in writing.
So, whatever content your are writing outside this forum with AI it’s should stay there, because we are here to learn and to understand how most of this projects works not by writing scripts with generated Chatgbt.
For the project owners, making your product more organic will help alot especially me, i am not here to pretend because it feels good reading something to understand than pretending to know by using chatgbt. On your twitter, discord, TG and the rest of your socials you can use AI.
As for the category, I dont know but I believe the Admins knows what is best for Tron.
