The previous judges were much better , I noticed they’ve changed this season. Are we really unable to see projects like TriggerX by @skye1 which we truly need for Tron and DropZone, both addressing real-world problem didn’t win any judge’s prize? Instead, a project like LuckyDapp, which is essentially just a basic guessing game got awarded. I strongly suggest considering different judges next season, @admin.hackathon@TronLive@WindsOfChange92 @HunterTRON .
See the current winners on web3 track selected by judges.
1.CalorieCoin (3 years old gym project still in web3 track , should be in builder according to rule)
2.MatchSystem (3 years old project developer submits it to every hackaTron season in the last season 2 and 3 as well but didn’t win that time , but this time he got third prize with the same project no change at all , either the description is still same)
3.ChumsChat (Also 3 year old dead project , chat app like telegram )
It is not something new that results are not as expected. Many past judges winners are nowhere today. I expect participants to build meaningful projects for TRON and BTT from these hackaTRONs. Yes next season maybe judges can be more open. I think team will do the best to improve. But what about the participants? Is their intend to just build for the hackathons prize money? I think we all can judge this simply by ones submition and their comments on certain outcomes.
Meaningful projects are there already but they didn’t get any prizes this time from judges , instead past projs , little quiz and guess games got the prizes thats what i have said .
I agree with you that some projects may not deserve the win. We can call them out all day and night. But it is not up to me to decide who should win. Can just provide feedback and keep moving.
Yes, Im simply sharing my feedback. If you think I’m mistaken feel free to ask any past or experienced developer or participant here to review the judges’ selection they would really be shocked.
It happens in every hackathon , like we have seen ethglobal happening since 2019 , i have never seen any builder continuing to work on his project still.
Everything is good, but I’d recommend increasing the prize amount and bringing in new judges. The judges from seasons 3 and 4 were more fair and experienced . @admin.hackathon
Oh, I see! I was really eager to see the poll results as they came in.
Is there any chance you could share the final voting breakdown here manually? I’m sure the community would love to see the outcome and celebrate everyone’s efforts. Thanks, @admin.hackathon!
We’re thrilled to know that we placed 2nd in the Community-Selected Prizes! It’s an incredible feeling to be chosen by the community, and we’re beyond grateful for all the support you’ve given us throughout this journey. Thank you to everyone who encouraged us, voted, and believed in TriggerX - this accomplishment is just as much yours as it is ours.
We’re more motivated than ever to keep pushing forward. Stay tuned—there’s more to come!
Wow just waking up and the announcement finally arrived
Congratulations to all the winners, no matter if judges-selected or community selected
Thanks to the organisation @admin.hackathon@SimbadMarino and to @TronLive for this season 7. (Please don’t hide votes next time, it’s too hard to wait 2 weeks )
Judges-selected winners: don’t forget you have some milestones to reach and a timeline. This is just the beginning
Congratulations to all the winning projects. We really thank everyone who supported us in this journey.
We build out easy yet secure authentication mechanics to help onboard more users to this chain. But I guess judges and the community didn’t find much value in the project.
Not complaining about anything here, but just putting my views as a first time participant. The process submission was great, but judgements are quite opaque given the size of this big hackathon. If everyone in the community is so much involved then nothing should be opaque. Secondly not sure why judges selected some dead old projects like chums chat, caloriegym. But whats done now is done.
We are thrilled to announce that JustInsure has won two prizes in the DeFi track!
3rd Place - Track Prizes
4th Place - Community Track Prizes
A huge thank you to the entire community for your invaluable support, and to all the judges and organizers for putting together such an incredible hackathon. Your dedication and hard work made this event a fantastic experience for everyone involved!
Here’s to more innovation and community-driven progress!
There are still prizes to be grabbed on Dec 4. Don’t think that judges and the community didn’t see the value of your project. There are only 5 spots per track and the choice wasn’t easy.
Keep building and updating the community, those who stick around will eventually get some recognition from the community
