You are welcome to the hackathon session 7
From what I understand, your project is promoting a payment access groups and channels on telegram. If this is true, my question is
Is this tool not going to undermine the goal for a free access to information that so many organizations have been advocating for?
How will you ensure that this telegram group and channel owners don’t over charge their members?
Welcome to Season 7, The project will be nice to have a group and channel to be monetize, So if the goal is to empower telegram group and channel owners to monetize, what will be their criteria for group or channel to be eligible to monetize their content?
[quote=“kabugu, post:1, topic:27515”]
A payment layer that accepts USDT in (TRON CHAIN)
Are you going to limit the payment to just USDT on Tron?
How about Tron native token $TRX
Your project will be interesting, but try to provide complete details on time so we can have some test to check out this project. Question like how often will the subscription be done is another consideration l.
What happens to group members who will not pay for the Group subscription? Any model to differentiate them?
Welcome to the Hackathon of season 7, I remember you very well from last season, please tell me have you’re journey in participation of Hackathons make this your present entry better, thank you
Welcome to the Hackathon of season 7, I have read you’re project and I understand that telegram users are going high everyday, please tell me are you going to be charging fee for every transaction or you are going to be doing monthly subscription, thank you
Thank you for the question. You’re correct in observing that our platform enables monetization for Telegram groups and channels, which is similar to how other platforms like Patreon, YouTube, and Substack empower content creators. Currently, many organizations advocate for a sustainable creator economy, recognizing the need for creators to be compensated for their time and efforts.
the creator economy is also growing rapidly, and there is a demand for tools that allow creators to sustainably monetize their work
especially relevant for those who provide premium content such as specialized education, exclusive entertainment, or personalized services. Our platform simply gives these creators another option to support their work.
Regarding the second part of your question, we understand the concern about potential overcharging. To address this, our platform supports a pay-per-use model, allowing subscribers to unsubscribe at any time
Thank you for the question! We’ve designed the platform to provide tools that group and channel owners can use within their own communities. We don’t impose any specific restrictions or eligibility criteria for monetizing content, as creators are free to use the platform to manage their own groups or channels
Payment Options: Yes, we have chosen TRON as the primary blockchain for payments because it offers fast transactions and low fees, which is ideal for a subscription-based model. In addition to USDT on TRON, we will also support **stUSDT & USDD ** as a payment option, giving users flexibility in how they pay for their subscriptions.
Subscription Frequency: The group/channel owner will have the flexibility to choose between weekly, monthly, or annual subscription models, depending on what works best for their community. This ensures that the payment cycle is adaptable to the needs of both the creator and their audience.
Non-Paying Members: To manage non-paying members, we have built an automated system where subscribers will be notified 3 days before their package deadline. If they do not renew their subscription in time, they will be automatically removed from the group. This ensures a seamless experience for both the group owner and the paying members, while maintaining fairness
Thanks @Gordian for the warm welcome in both seasons regarding the payment platform I noticed their were existing good solutions in the market everything was smilar to what i dreamed of; that’s why i decided to build something else
Welcome to hackaTron S7. Your project serves as a game-changing solution for Telegram group and channel owners, making it easier for them to monetize content through Web3 technology. In a situation where a subscriber is not satisfied with the contents they get from their group owner, will there be a way for them to request for a refunds?
Additionally, there has been series of claims on group subscribers not getting the value they expected during their subscription, to help curb this, is it possible to offer free trial periods of not more than 3 days to help potential subscribers determine the quality of the contents they are about to subscribe to?
welcome team, this is a great solution… I know we already have channels on telegram which requires members to pay before accessing the information in the channel. And this project is going to make it easy for them to to track all subscribers
Still on this, I’m asking if payment option will include TRX, and not just stable on Tron
And still concern
How subscription will be regulated, for example, if a crypto channel/group will be same as entertainment channel/group?
Example when your project added to existing telegram group (like Tron community group) and old outstanding members will be removed for not sub.( If that they way it it)
You check and balance na.
Maybe I suggest you make it a flexible one.
Cause if it will be by force to subscribe literally everything
Like telegram premium and also subscribe to belong to a groups.
And then, what will be the revenue sharing model between you and the creators?
Finally, we have cases were after paying for telegram group and no more content deliveries by the creator and if the member get to talk, they get to be removed. Will your project check that up?
If I’m getting the whole understanding wrong you can correct me. All the best buddy
Welcome to session 7 of hackathon
Your project is truly amazing I’m eager to learn more about your project’s specific features, roadmap, and the team behind it. I have a few questions that needs clarity
How do you plan to incentivize users and contributors to participate in the platform’s ecosystem.
Given the sensitive nature of financial transaction, what steps are in place to ensure the safety and privacy of users data.
Regarding refunds, yes, this will be possible. Each group or channel owner will set their own terms regarding refunds, and these terms will be clearly visible to subscribers before they make any payment. This ensures that both parties have a clear understanding of the refund policy, making the process transparent and fair.
As for offering free trial periods, this feature will also be available. Creators can choose to offer a free trial of any duration (such as 3 days or more)
Our platform focuses on automating and streamlining processes, similar to how Stripe handles web payments, but with the flexibility for each creator or community to set their own rules for refunds and trials.
