Poll: would you work as mod on the forum if it was possible?

This poll was inspired by discussions I had with @Nana66419 and @Prince-Onscolo.

At some point it would benefit Trondao to have full time mods that could not only keep the forum alive but also guide new users.
Those mods should imo be picked among the community as they are used to the chain, the tools, the issues newcomers can face (energy, scams,…).

So my question today is for all the members of the community:

If Trondao decides to hire some full-time mods for the forum (and maybe also for the TG and Discord groups as well), would you apply?

The question here isn’t about the wage, I’ve heard TronDao’s wages are more than fair, but is: would you like to help new users and keep the forum alive professionally?

We have been doing this already, in and outside hackaTron period. So it wouldn’t be any big deal to apply if the window for such is thrown open.

And if they need mods they don’t even have to bother asking around or publish some job offer. They check this poll and have the list of candidates

This has been ongoing but i no there are active members in the platform that are more than capable and can also educate newbies like @fabsltsa @Youngyuppie @Prince-Onscolo @manfred_jr @Nweke-nature1.com @Gordian.
I may not be right and I stand to be corrected but I think they have what it takes and they are very active.

I think quite a handful of community members have low-key been unofficial mods and to make it official, it should be more of a hand picked process than a role open for application. But either ways, whatever works!

I assume the role played by those members hasn’t been unnoticed :+1:

I think having full-time moderators for Trondao could really enhance the community experience. I would definitely consider applying. It’s rewarding to help new users navigate the platform and address their concerns. Plus, being deeply involved in the community means I understand the challenges newcomers face, such as dealing with scams and energy issues. A professional mod team could provide consistent support and foster a more welcoming environment, ultimately benefiting everyone involved.

Already working as a mod with no pay :joy:
