Project Details: PoO provides a visual, easy-to-use, digital certificate that helps collectors prove their ownership of NFTs!

Problem: Collectors spend a great deal of their time and money on buying NFTs. However, there is no easy way for them to prove their ownership and flaunt their possessions.

Most ways to prove ownership are tedious, boring and quite technical.

Also, it is exceptionally difficult to prove your past ownerships of NFTs.

Imagine you owned the precious BAYC NFT in the past. How to prove this ownership from way back when?

One way is to parse through the blockchain and show the transfers. Again, a method that is tedious and technical.

Solution: PoO will interact with the blockchain data and verify the ownership of NFTs, ever since the genesis of blockchain.

Thus, on the PoO platform, collectors can generate a digital certificate that is visual and that has verified their current/past ownerships.

How this works: Connect Wallet → Select the NFT to create the certificate for → Generate the digital certificate

1. Contract creation for storing user details and mint ownership certificate(non- transferable) : 29/10/2022

At first it did not make much sense just like USDT/stablecoin did not. But it is so powerful to have this certificate.

It would be great if you could help with the following questions:-

1. How will the users trust that the certificate is genuine and not a forged one?
2. Will the certificate mention the period of holding?

Yes, the certificate will be shareable on various social media platforms. Our aim is to help collectors flaunt their NFTs!

@H_P Yes, it is powerful if we pass on the message more clearly.

Let me answer your questions:-

1. The certificate provided by the platform PoO requires the private key to sign the transaction. The NFT held by that wallet now and previously are fetched from the blockchain. The user selects the NFT and we auto-fill the data of when it was held, at what price and allows the user to enter the name on the certificate.
   So, for users who have multiple wallets for safety purposes or otherwise, they can have the certificate with the same name or the one which they desire to be entered.
2. Yes the certificate will mention the period of holding.
   So, if you bought CryptoPunk in 2019 and sold in 2020 it will be mentioned.

I understand that PoO comes from Proof of Ownership but just wanted to know how did the idea come up to name the platform PoO?

Interesting question @fabsltsa! We were thinking of naming it as Proof Of Ownership Protocol … if you know what I mean But decided to stick to PoO.

PoO has some really cool features and an amazing UI. Do keep an eye out for it in the coming days.
