In a way, is this similar to how some credit card companies rewards their customers? Spend with us, earn rewards, and you can receive discounts on brands we partner with, except you’re cryptocurrency related.

Yes, exactly, the process and end product is similar, only the business plan is different. The only difference is that they get comission from the card transaction fee and at ThanX brands pay us (which we then share with the users) because we bring them new customers. As we agree with partners, we can give a way bigger % than any credit card but at fewer places. Although, at a later stage we will be able to offer rewards at more places as we agree with more partners, plus with the introduction of open banking technology and ThanX Pay.
The cool thing for the users is that they can use their credit cards and ThanX at the same time to collect rewards from both places.

Yes, in our opinion to start your own business the core team should be full-time on it. We were 100% determined to make our project succeed so I resigned from Wise last year and @rolandlesku from Canon at the beginning of 2022. Since then we’re purely focusing on ThanX.

To answer your question, yes, you will be able to buy gift cards with our token and then buy products with that.
However, later when we introduce ThanX Pay at the end of 2023, the goal is to make agreements with our partners to accept our token as a means of payment on their website.

As you might see, our work is really complex both on frontend and backend. But no worries, we have 3 developers working on this task to bring you an awesome extension that you’ll love.

Hi guys,
I really like this project. I use some products of these brands, so it would be nice if I could get some cashback after purchase. If I need to return an item for some reason (and I get a refund), will the tokens be lost?
