Alright thank you for clarifying this but one question I will like to ask regarding this whole claim by @leohymon is whether MIT give right to use the project for commercial purposes like participating in hackathons?
You doing a great
work though the admins has the final judgement
Thank you for your support and understanding of the work we’ve put into TronXplore! We are share the process behind building the platform:
-
Understanding the Codebase: We began by thoroughly exploring the original SkyOffice codebase to understand the flow and how it could be adapted to our needs. This included character interactions and user experience elements.
-
Designing Task Flow: We created functionality to guide users through tasks, using popups and glowing navigation points to ensure clarity in learning objectives. Each task is structured to gradually introduce users to the Tron blockchain.
-
Task Creation & User Engagement: Our main focus has been on designing tasks that cover all essential aspects of the Tron blockchain, from basic concepts to some advance topics. This ensures users stay engaged while learning step-by-step.
-
Backend Development: We implemented backend support to store user task data, tracking progress as they move through each stage of learning. This included creating APIs for task management.
-
Smart Contract Integration: We developed the ability for users to create TRC-20 and TRC-721 tokens as part of their learning experience. Once all tasks are completed, users receive a certificate in the form of an NFT, rewarding their effort and learning.
-
UI & Gamification: While building on the original UI framework, we’ve added significant custom features, such as user interaction to game board, task interactions, contract management, and a leaderboard to showcase users’ progress and achievements.
The MIT license is clearly referenced in both the original SkyOffice GitHub repo and ours. We’ve put in substantial work to bring a fresh, gamified experience to the Tron community.
Thank you again for your understanding and for believing in TronXplore!
Thank you for your question! At the moment, TronXplore does not offer real-time feedback or explanations for mistakes during tasks. However, we ensure that each task is designed with detailed instructions and information, so beginners can easily follow along and understand each step. Our goal is to provide clear guidance throughout the learning process, making sure users feel supported as they complete tasks.
We are always open to feedback and suggestions, and introducing real-time feedback could be something we explore in future updates to further enhance the learning experience. Thank you again for your input!
Thank you for your question! The MIT License is one of the most permissive open-source licenses, and it does allow for the use of the licensed code for both private and commercial purposes, including participation in hackathons.
As long as the original project that uses the MIT License is properly attributed and the license itself is included, you are free to modify, distribute, and even use the code for commercial purposes. In the case of TronXplore, if the project is significantly built upon the open-source code (such as SkyOffice), it is allowed under the MIT License, provided that proper attribution is given and the terms of the license are followed.
So, yes, you are within your rights to use the MIT-licensed code in this context, as long as you comply with its terms. Thank you again for raising this important point!
@ElevenGracy I’m repeatedly getting this error when trying to connect to the public lobby: ‘Trying to connect to server, please try again!’ Are you still actively working on this app?
Ok, thank you for your kind response and for clarifying all this in a very professional manner. Good luck to you
Can users display or trade the NFT certificate, and how will it be integrated into their digital portfolios?
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you faced while trying to connect to the public lobby. We’ve identified the problem, which was related to our server provider, and have now resolved it. The platform should be functioning properly, and you’re welcome to give it another try.
Please let us know if the issue persists, and feel free to share your experience after testing. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve. We are actively working on this project to ensure all functionality is working smoothly and providing the best experience possible. Thank you again for your patience and understanding!
As of now, the NFT certificates are only visible in the user’s wallet, serving as a personal achievement and proof of their progress on TronXplore. While users can’t display or trade them externally at this stage, we’re actively considering ways to enhance this functionality. In the future, we may explore options for integrating these certificates into digital portfolios or enabling trading, adding more value to the learning experience.
Thank you for the suggestion, and we appreciate your input as we work to improve the platform!
Will the platform offer real-time feedback and explanations for mistakes made during tasks to ensure a deeper understanding of each concept?
How will new quests or challenges be introduced to keep the platform fresh and engaging for users who have already completed the basic quests?
@ElevenGracy Now I can connect to the public lobby but it is (the character) not moving forward.
How does TronXplore enhance blockchain education to be engaging and interactive for beginners?
How does TronXplore ensure that tasks and quests are suitable for beginners while still providing valuable real-world blockchain experience?
How does TronXplore’s gamified approach compare to more traditional educational methods in teaching blockchain technology?
As of now, we don’t have a real-time feedback feature implemented, but we’ve designed the platform in such a way that ensures all necessary details and instructions are clearly provided before any task is performed by the user. This helps users to have a good understanding of the task requirements upfront. However, we are considering adding more interactive features like real-time feedback in the future to further enhance the learning experience and ensure deeper understanding.
Thank you for your question! We’ve designed our tasks with a user-first perspective, starting from basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics to keep users engaged. For those who have completed the initial quests, we plan to introduce new challenges and quests regularly. These updates will focus on advanced topics and real-world applications within the Tron ecosystem, keeping the platform fresh and exciting for continuous learning. Additionally, we’ll incorporate user feedback to shape future quests, ensuring they remain relevant and engaging.
Thank you for taking the time to check out our platform again! We apologize for the inconvenience with the character movement. To move your character, please use the joystick control located at the bottom of the screen. You can also try rejoining the lobby if the movement isn’t responding. We’re actively working to ensure everything runs smoothly, and your feedback helps us make improvements. Please let us know if the issue persists, and feel free to share your experience with us!
Thank you for your question! At TronXplore, we’ve carefully designed each step to be beginner-friendly by providing clear instructions and detailed information. Each task includes interactive activities that guide users through key concepts, allowing them to directly engage with the Tron blockchain in a hands-on way. This approach helps beginners connect with the learning material, making blockchain education both accessible and enjoyable. Through these activities, we aim to keep users engaged while building their understanding of the Tron ecosystem.
