This referral code that you speak of, would it be reusable, or is each one tied to a single user?

Your reply makes me wonder, how are you going to handle issues of fake referrals?
When the next proposal draft is updated to the submission details on this will be covered. Preventing abuse of the system is a priority!

I don’t really see how people would trick the system with fake referrals since most likely rewards would be sent after job’s payout has been sent (meaning the one using the ref code will pay for service + platform fees).
The only way to “abuse” would be someone who needs to post a bounty referring himself and getting therefore a kind of discount. But well I assume it will be calculated for the platform to always be profitable (rewards = x % of platform fees paid by customer) and it will be one more customer anyways. Or do you see other ways to trick the system that should be prevented?

You’re going to need to implement anti-sybil / social proof verification to prevent adbuse of a referral system. I’d say for an MVP just ignore the referral system for now or only verified members can get a referral code ( and verified members need to be have social proof - can be manual for now)
Could also be a system where the job completer selects a verified member of the megateam dao as the referer.

If really needed, Humanode provides this service for free to projects and they are participating in the TBL. I’m sure they can guide for integration.
