In my opinion, TRON DAO should consider developing its own decentralized hackathon platform, independent of third-party platforms like Devpost and Dorahacks. By creating their own platform, TRON DAO can have greater control over the hackathon process and ensure seamless integration with the TRON blockchain ecosystem. This would enable TRON DAO to host hackathons more efficiently, tailor the platform to their specific needs, and provide a unique experience for participants. Additionally, a dedicated hackathon platform would enhance TRON DAO’s brand identity and showcase their commitment to fostering innovation within the TRON community.

In my own point of view builders Track is very useful, vital and very important for the growth of Tron ecosystem
To elaborate my facts in details, a project like @TuruGlobal Has been committed to building, supporting and also attracting new investors to Tron ecosystem which is really a welcome development 
they are really consistently building on TuruVerse a project that is ready to connect and bring new investors on Tron, with what I have seen so far they are doing a great job and needs to continue building 
The same case with @JustMoney the best user friendly DEX on Tron, they always constantly building and improving all day to bring and spread a better trading atmosphere to the Tron community and crypto community at large, they are about to introduce justmony spot trading, isn’t that a great experience if we see that up and running at justmoney exchange? Yes it will be great but it requires funds to make this dream a reality.
So I still stands in my words that builders Track is so much important for the continues building and growth of Tron ecosystem
Honestly there has been lots of good potential projects with good team as well, I really hope they win and deliver with there respective good utilities that will also attract investors to Tron.
The aim and goal is to make Tron great, lively and friendly ecosystem

Thank you for all the wonderful comments, everyone! We’re pleasantly surprised to see so many existing projects being built upon - that’s definitely the way to go. While the prize pool was set before the hackathon began, don’t forget that there are still a few more bonus prizes up for grabs!
These include:
- 3 Determination Prizes of 5,000 USDD each: TRON DAO will award 5,000 USDD to up to 3 projects that are fully functional on mainnet by June 1st, have received positive feedback, and are valuable to the community.
- 2 Project Engagement Prizes of 3,000 each: These will be determined by the TRON DAO team based on project status updates and engagement with the community.
(but we also think that it would be better if we have 5 votes for the builders track 
)
Also @fabsltsa Project should still keep building during this voting period too to take advantage so those that are developing will surely have enough time since there’s a whole month left + ~3 months since the hackathon started.
Thanks for your suggestions @kaarasamuel9. Yes, the concept you are referring to is the Internet of Things, or IoT for short. It definitely will play a huge role in our near future.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, @maaz. Although we value having more control over the hackathon, TRON DAO is currently exploring different platforms to broaden our reach and learn from diverse communities of developers. However, TRON DAO is definitely considering the idea of hosting a self-hosted, decentralized hackathon in the future.
And once again, we cannot stress this enough: we really encourage all of you to keep commenting on the projects’ posts to give the project teams some feedback and challenges. This way, we can see which projects stood out among the others!

Looks like the audience is comfortable voting for projects they have already used / checked on mainnet.
DeFi and GameFi are also looking promising!

Sure the period of time for building is large enough. Some projects are already on mainnet and running. I was thinking about some devs that might be building alone with very limited funds and could be counting on the first part of the prize to achieve the last milestones (maybe some expenses to cover) + push mainnet.
Or if we consider that the prize is meant to help projects to keep improving and building after the hackathon, then the payment could be done in one time after the last milestone is reached.

Q. Do you think having a builder track is useful? Builder track allows existing hackathon participants from previous seasons to join a specific track to keep developing their existing projects. Why and why not?
Yes it is useful, for projects like ours and ther examples like @Deba215 @JustMoney and @TronNinjas it is great to be able to compete for a prize while building out a bigger project. And if you look at content engagement, these are the projects that are engaging with the community.
Concerning offline Hackathon’s in the US, we would suggest to get some more engagement going in Europe. A lot of focus is going towards US where regulations are not Tron friendly, but Europe could use some love as well.
A meet up in one of the European capitals could result in some great engagement as well

Creo que has dado en el clavo, Europa puede presentar un buen sitio para promocionar el Hackathon y a su vez crear más usuarios.
Estamos un poco abandonados en ese aspecto y hay muchas personas interesadas en el mundo blockchain.

Hay muchos sitios de Europa mejor que Bruselas e incluso países europeos, dónde el trabajar con las criptomonedas, ofrecen más ventajas, precisamente Bruselas es el centro neuralgico de la Comunidad Europea en la cual siempre se busca una regulación para estas a favor de ellos.

Because in Brussels we could invite MEP’s (Members of the European Parlement) to visit and discuss with them about our vision and their vision of the future European legal framework. Members of Parlement are often looking for experts and take in consideration their point of view. Avoiding contacts with them would mean lose our voice in the process.

Permíteme que difiera, si tu pretendes crear una economía alternativa dónde la gente al pasar a la web3 sea completamente autónoma, sin necesidad de terceros, estos personajes quedan fuera de lugar. Mi entendimiento sobre la blockchain y lo que le rodea es para un mundo donde esta gente no tiene voz ni voto. No son de mi interés, ni importantes para mí.
Sus leyes y sus reglas no son las mias.
