That’s a fair point indeed !
I envision the day when we won’t have to rely on politicians though .

This is one of the most amazing tracks of all and also very useful. The builder track in itself celebrates the pioneers of tron. Having them in one track gives new projects a higher opportunity to stand a fair chance of also winning something from the hackathons.

What i think needs to be look at is old projects that has never won anything from tron hackathon. Imagine not winning anything in season 1-3 and now that u think you can win something in season 4, you have been added to a track where your chances are near zero.

So i think those who haven’t won anything but they are old projects shouldnt be added to the builder track, they wont stand a chance in the community vote. But they should be considered and treated as new. I know @strxfinance would have love a comeback but a comeback into the lions den drove him away even though he applied for season 4.

Again with the builder track we can monitor progress of every project. Those who won in previous season but did not continue their project (I don’t want to mention names) will not dare to bring that same project to this track. The track will clearly betray them.

There is a project that came in season one, won something but did nothing, brought the same project in season two won something but did nothing, again he brought the same project in season three, people raised concern that why is he not still on mainnet after all these wins, he said his project is too big and needs time. Luckily he was disqualified in season three. He didnt dare come in season 4 cos he wouldn’t stand a chance in the builder track. I know @fabsltsa knows the project i am talking about. :grinning::grinning:

That is a very good suggestion.

What if we have builders track for projects that won something previously and builders track for project that was submitted in previous Hackathon but did not win a prize.

This can make them immune to new projects coming and encourage builders to continue working on the project as they will get another opportunity in few months where they will not be against the likes of :lion: in builders tracks(prev. Winners)

Thats that will be a great new way. :grinning::grinning:

There were some projects that to me really deserved to be up there in the voting list, a project like Link’nRed and Medical Management by team Ennovasol led by @JavierGarza.

I think if they are able to continue building regardless they might stand a chance to win something from the determination prize.

Also there was this project that caught my attention and i was all in for it but unfortunately the team said they could not get their smart contract in time and because of that they didnt make the list.

The project is weave financial by @Jaackersss. If they dont feel discouraged because they couldn’t meet the timelines set by the hackathon and continue to build, they can also stand a chance to win something in that category. All hope is not lost.

Also not forgetting some projects that made it into the community voting list but made zero impact in the community, almost 90% of the projects i am about to mention had zero engagement, they didnt answer questions from the community members, after making the forum post they were nowhere to be found and as a matter of fact only two project among this list made a single comment and that even did not address any question at hand.

They are as follows;

  1. EVOIE by @adroitakash upon all the numerous questions, he made a single comment.

  2. SealKey by @tronnugz, not a single engagement.

  3. Trustsight by The Tronnacles, not a single engagement, they were dead silent.

  4. Carbonport by Tronic Greens not a single answer from them, they were no where to be found after making their forum post.

  5. Forgreen by @Steve20 and @bahauddin, they made a single comment and that was it.

So this begs the question, how will they hear when they win community reward. Cos they have been playing dead all this while.

This leads me to my suggestion, if a project fails to engage the community and answer questions from the community to clear their doubt, they can stand a chance to win something from the judges, but they shouldn’t be included in the community voting list.

That is my opinion and if you think otherwise, you are at liberty to argue your case. Thank you and peace :v:

Good observations,
I believe those 4 later projects have one way or the other left

hahaha I wrote these projects down and they are not getting my vote… no questions were answered

Hahaha :grinning::grinning::grinning: they made a post because it was a requirement, but never saw the need to answer anyone. @EMerchant asked them questions but none of it was answered.

So how then do we get the clarification needed to understand the project into details.

I made a list of all the those in the voting list and went back to check their submissions.
Cancelled their names, even under one I saw you asking for the owner to answer your questions :grinning: :grinning: :grinning: :grinning:

Hahhaha
How about the questions drove them away

Hahaha  its very stressful at times, reading through a project, testing out their dapp and when you ask question to clear your doubt, they are no where to be found. Sometime i come back again and tell people not to bother asking them anything cos they wont answer.:smiley:

Hahaha
How about their own answers in their heads driving them away.

Back to Q2: Aside the projects who decided not answer our questions (even tho some still passed Pre-selection face) and one other (I won’t mentioned the name) but that project did not pass. All others did a great job and I know they Will continue to stand a chance to win the $5000

We have a lot of promising project this season and we should keep an eye on them.
